For over 20 years, UVISEME, LLC Founder Jenifer L. Price, PhD, LMSW has offered college and career advice to high school, early career adults, and their families as they journey through the college admissions and career selection process.
Dr. Price earned a doctoral degree in Instructional Design and Technology to learn how to effectively integrate technology into the delivery of advising services. As a licensed master’s level social worker, she connects individuals and families with the resources they need to reach their goals. This background also allows her to work more effectively with students facing unique academic and personal challenges (i.e. dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, autism spectrum disorder or ASD, and depression). Give your teen or young adult direction through career testing. Help your student: Pick career-relevant courses in middle/high school (making school more fun). Select a college major (avoiding wasted tuition dollars from switching repeatedly). Guide them in selecting suitable work experiences (i.e. part time job, volunteering).
